You won’t always need the Mophie Juice pack, But when you do you will sure be happy you have it. We have all been there, we forget to charge our iPhone before bed, your driving around and realize you have no idea where you are or how to get to where you need to be, (nothing like a navigation app to draw down your battery) I often fall asleep with iTunes running waking up to a dead battery.

Bottom line is you no longer need to worry about getting your iPhone to an electrical outlet. Simply flip the little switch on the bottom of your case and your back in business. From 0% to up 80-90% (mileage may vary) I get about 80% recharge most of the time.

Now it’s not a complete freebie. You still have to remember to plug in your micro USB cord in to be sure your Mophie is ready to use. Thats been a big let down a few times. I forgot to charge my charger! Doh!

The device has a nice set of LED indicator lights on the bottom of the case to keep you updated on how charged up your juice pack is.

So is it worth the $79.00 price tag? ($71.95 as of this post-on sale) Well, I think so it a bit like paying for insurance. You don’t like paying the premium until you are texting while drive and rear end that car in front of you. I have been real happy with mine and it certainly came in handy today.
