I am going to give Goole Plus another try. I really liked G+ when it was first released. However it grew so fast, along with added too many feature’s to quick. I simply lost interest trying to keep up. Each day there were change to the UI. I spent more time fiddling then posting.

Well, I have been looking in to G+ again and i a going to give it another try!

I thought I would share a cool web site where you can create your own Google+ ID Card…Kinda Cool!

The other Day I surprised my Daughter took her to the Mall so she could P/U a few things and I also told her I need to stop in the Apple store to replace my Headphones. Little did she know I had it all set up with my buddy who works at the store. To hold a Macbook for her…So just like every trip to the Apple store I go looking for what I need and she goes and plays with the White Macbook that she wants more than anything!

However this time my buddy said is this the one you want? (He had a new one in the box in his hand) Darcy (my Daughter) thought he meant the one she was playing with…Then I said Yup thats the one lets go check out…She quickly realized that he had it in his hands and she was going to get it I turned to her and said Merry Christmas Sweetie and she began to cry!! A moment I will never forget!

Of course I have the whole thing on Video..

Now the Funny thing was my Buddy who works there said be sure to watch the Opening Video when you start the machine because its the only time you ever see it and then its gone.

I said Hmmm now I know it was some time ago but i am sure i did a screencast on how to find this file deep in the Hard drive…so i pulled up www.YourMacShow.com and search the archives. Sure enough there it was I had it playing at the store soon we has everybody watching and asking me where I had found it. Now this was a long time ago. So i thought i would share it here on my new web site. Here are the detailed instruction on where to find these files.

I must note here that there is 2 files is the .MOV and the Other is the MP3 they don’t quite match up so you have to join them using a movie editor. Anyway here is where the files are located:

Open Finder:

Go to you Mac HD (Use the Finder Pane View)

Click Sysytem-Library-CoreServices-SetUp Assistant – (Right Click SetUp Assistant) Select “Show Package Contents” – This opens another Finder Window – Click Contents – Resources – TransitionSection Bundle (Right Click TransitionSection Bundle) Select “Show Package Contents” – This Opens another Finder Window – Click Contents – Resources – And You Are There…Now Look For Intro.MOV and intro-sound.mp3 … Now Right Click and Save these files … Then take them to your Movie editor of choice and match up these files and there you have it your very own copy on the Mac OS X intro Movie .. or feel free to download it from my web site. You will find it in my side bar! Or Click Link Below
